Lili Gray - Traning and Consultation

Lili Gray

As an endorsed National Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Trainer- and a member of the global steering committee for CPP,  I offer implementation level training in the model and create training content and materials for participants who are training in CPP for the ‘mothership’.

With over two decades of experience training mental health clinicians in evidenced based practice and optimizing work with clients- I’ve had a lot of roles- as a clinician, a supervisor and a director in outpatient, community mental health, child welfare, domestic violence and therapeutic school settings.

I present on early childhood trauma, the impact of trauma on development and relationships, Child Parent Psychotherapy, reflective practice and consultation, self-care and vicarious trauma for providers.

In 2023, I presented at the World Association for Infant Mental Health in Dublin, Ireland, and at the San Diego International Conference on Child and Family Maltreatment, on “Talking to the courts about attachment, the impact of placement on young children, and infant mental health.”

Additionally, I presented at the Zero to Three Learn Conference in 2023 on “They Just Don’t Get It: Building professional capacity to support families when a child dies,” and on “Getting to Being With – The Journey from Wanting to Help to Feeling With – in Infant and Early Childhood Workforce Development.” I also spoke at the Chadwick Annual Conference in 2024.

I am an active member of the board of the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health, a member of the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health, faculty at Erikson Institute, a DC: 0-5 trainer and a FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions) trainer. I am also a Circle of Security Facilitator and Gottman trained- and am a registered yoga and meditation teacher and a certified comprehensive Pilates instructor.

In my free time I enjoy participating in AKC and NACSW scent work with my two long haired dachshunds.

Testimonials

  • Lili has been a great resource for the CPP community. Lili is an amazing clinician who provided us with a wealth of information, quality reflective supervision and support. Lili is very knowledgeable, empathic, kind, and supportive. I am thankful and grateful to have met her and be a part of the weekly CPP consultation calls, she has helped us find the words needed as we all try to make sense of this new normal. Having her insight has been crucial during this transition to telehealth. COVID-19 has changed the way we live, we practice and we support one another, and Lili has helped us make this transition while maintaining CPP fidelity.
